Jia in Chinese means unseen. Happa is inspired by the existence of ancient Chinese women who fought for their rights. They were “unseen” but wanted to speak. Their presence is immortalized in a shape of puppet shadow, which also becomes inspiration for Happa latest collection, Jia.

Jia told a story about a girl who dare to dream because she believes eventually she will inspire the whole world. She dreams about freedom, just like a bird in the sky, so she can pursue her true love.

  • In your opinion, what is the meaning of dream?

Dream is a hope and a strong motivation  

  • Do you believe the power of dream?

Yes! I believe dream can be a lighter and encouragment to achieve something

  • What did you wish for when you were a little?

When I was little, I wished to be on a stage in front ocean of people, sing, and draw a smile on everyone's faces

  • Is it easy to live in your dream?

It's not that easy. To achieve a dream, process is needed. Even after we get it, it's even harder to preserve. But my point is, respect the process, because it will make us wiser

  • What is the most precious memory when you were a little?

When I could spend time with my family. Time is the most precious thing because no turning back

  • What is your biggest achievement so far?

When I transformed, from a girl to a wife, from a wife to a mother. And here I am now, a mother, a singer, a fashion enthusiast, and a philanthropist.
