Embracing differences on stage of hundreds audiences

March 11, 2017

All we need is a perfect moment!

And saturday afternoon, February 4, 2017 is the most perfect moment to spread the message of friendship. This Spring/Summer 2017 collection is a media to once again deliver the same mission of "embracing uniqueness". Inspired by the social and humanity issues, beautiful landscape of one country in South America, Peru, Happa shows up briefly with "Pata Runa".

"Pata" in quechua language means "friend" and "Runa" means "every people". The concept of being friend with anyone between the madness of diversity became the hihglight values delivered to society through fashion. In original printing patterns, thematic detail of embroidery, and beads all over the place, Happa comes out with its authentic identity of cheerful and colorful look. Organic fabrics usage like 100% cotton, and Tencel become one of Happa's campaign in "sustainibility".

Besides the utilisations of fabrics and detail chosen, the social gap is clearly shown on the divided sequences of "the poor" and "the rich" (Watch di video of the show, here). From the top of Jakarta Convention Centre's Plenary Hall, we can see clearly the gap between them. And suddenly the light was off for second, and when it's on, every cast is up high, a perfect persentation of "stand up for equality".

All we need is a perfect moment!

Kemudian lampu dipadamkan, sejenak suasana gelap dan kembali menyala saat semua beridri tegap, representasi sempurna "stand up for equality".
